From our experience, we at AKCENT Collegredict that American Colleges and Universities will be interested in three kinds of programs that are sought after by students and can be accredited by their university or college:
I. Summer Intensive Czech courses
- 48 weeks outside the academic semester, according to our mutual agreement
- 2030 lessons a week, according to our mutual agreement
II. One semester of Czech studies
- 3 months (the maximum length of stay without a visa) or according to our mutual agreement
- 2030 lessons a week, according to our mutual agreement
The main advantage is the contact with the Czech environment and Czech students. In addition to this, the ample experience of the Czech department teachers guarantees a high level of lessons for students.

Part of the campus is located at AKCENT International House Prague, a language school that has been teaching Czech for Foreigners, English and other languages for 18 years. The language school is a Cambridge ESOL accredited school of methodology courses for teachers of English as a foreign language (the Cambridge CELTA and DELTA). At the end of the course students receive an internationally recognized certificate for teachers of English as a foreign language.
All AKCENT IH Prague teachers have ample experiences in teaching languages, and their methodology level is very high. About 3500 students who attend the language courses there are the proof of it.
Other Information
Internship students can get experience in language teaching as teaching assistants, or in administration.
Accommodation if it is needed we can arrange accommodation in host families or in shared flats.
