Objectives
The Specialization in Pedagogy study programme offers two independent fields of study
- English as a Foreign Language
- Czech as a Foreign Language
Course objectives
The Specialization in Pedagogy study program responds, in compliance with the Bologna Declaration, to the needs of practical life, and takes into account the requirements of lifelong learning and education (with emphasis on both the European and state educational policies).
The objectives of both fields of study are consistent with the basic idea of the Bologna process. The Bachelor degree aims to prepare graduates for the work of language instructors in adult education and/or for postgraduate study in the fields of philology or pedagogy (for various types of schools), whereby they can gain a full teaching qualification that is not provided by the present Bachelor degree.
